Just checked Dallas's glucose and it was 7.1. Should I give him his dose of 1.25, a token dose or skip?

Next time you get a Pre-shot you're not sure about shooting, you should stall, don't feed, and test again in 20-30 minutes. Usually, if the number goes up, that's a pretty good indication that the last shot is starting to wear off and it's OK to shoot. Use that time to post here with a good, clear subject line like "STALLING! NEED HELP!" (it usually works....LOL) You can go back and edit it once you have somebody helping you.

You also have to remember that you're going to also be feeding him which is going to raise his BG and with Lantus, the shot usually doesn't start to "kick in" for 2-3 hours.

Thank you! I'm pretty sure the answer would be skip, but I wanted to check because I hate to skip if I don't need to. But, I skipped it to be safe.
Since no one answered you best to skip
I know they say to stall don't feed and test again in 30 minutes to see if his BG goes up and is safe enough to shoot

Let's see if anyone responds and might suggest to lower his dose so you don't have to skip

Thank you @Chris & China (GA)

I see you put the 95 1/2 in the 10 cell
You can put it in the 9 cell this way 95 @+9.5 then color it in manually :cat:
Example if it were to be
15 minutes it would be 95@+9.25
30 minutes. 95 @+9.5
45 minutes. 95 @+9.75

Thank you! I'll keep this in mind for next time and I'll definitely use a more catchy subject lol.

Just to be clear, if it's lower than 10, but the number is going up after stalling for 20-30 mins it's ok to shoot full dose?
