Just checked Dallas's glucose and it was 7.1. Should I give him his dose of 1.25, a token dose or skip?
Sorry no one has answered you, I don't feel comfortable giving dosing adviceJust checked Dallas's glucose and it was 7.1. Should I give him his dose of 1.25, a token dose or skip?
Thank you! I'm pretty sure the answer would be skip, but I wanted to check because I hate to skip if I don't need to. But, I skipped it to be safe.Sorry no one has answered you, I don't feel comfortable giving dosing advice
I assume it's over an hour ago that you got that PMPS number
I'll tag some members for you in case this happens again

Thank you @Chris & China (GA)Next time you get a Pre-shot you're not sure about shooting, you should stall, don't feed, and test again in 20-30 minutes. Usually, if the number goes up, that's a pretty good indication that the last shot is starting to wear off and it's OK to shoot. Use that time to post here with a good, clear subject line like "STALLING! NEED HELP!" (it usually works....LOL) You can go back and edit it once you have somebody helping you.
You also have to remember that you're going to also be feeding him which is going to raise his BG and with Lantus, the shot usually doesn't start to "kick in" for 2-3 hours.

Thank you! I'll keep this in mind for next time and I'll definitely use a more catchy subject lol.Next time you get a Pre-shot you're not sure about shooting, you should stall, don't feed, and test again in 20-30 minutes. Just made the change. Looks less confusing nowI see you put the 95 1/2 in the 10 cell
You can put it in the 9 cell this way 95 @+9.5 then color it in manually
Example if it were to be
15 minutes it would be 95@+9.25
30 minutes. 95 @+9.5
75 minutes. 95 @+9.75
Great job ! Dallas is such a cute boyJust made the change. Looks less confusing nowhaha

75 minutes. 95 @+9.75
Lol you're right, I screwed up,75 minutes??.....LOL (I think you meant 45)
Just to be clear, if it's lower than 10, but the number is going up after stalling for 20-30 mins it's ok to shoot full dose?Next time you get a Pre-shot you're not sure about shooting, you should stall, don't feed, and test again in 20-30 minutes.
