On Sunday, an emaciated kitty found her way to my deck. She seems to have something wrong with her mouth, but can eat. Her ear looks like a congenital deformity-- it looks like it just never finished growing. I think her pelvis is/was broken as her back end is pretty wobbly. Right now, she weighs only 4 lbs 11 oz and there is no fat layer anywhere on her body-- every bone is easily felt.
She was very scared at first, but after only about half an hour she came out from under the deck and ate and allowed petting-- she started to purr. Right now she is in my daughter, Kelly's, room so she can see the vet in the morning. She's very content and knows she's safe.
Honey came to us 3 weeks after I lost Fletcher... of all the houses around me, she chose ours...
Please pray that if there's anything wrong with her, it's easily fixed/treated.
If I have to send her to the Bridge... please pray that my heart can take it....
