Is she eating the snacks at +2 and +4 during the day?
Also, again, whenever she has a lower green number like that, you need to feed a little and retest her BG to ensure she is not dropping into unsafe territory. We do not want her to go below 68 on your Alpha Trak meter (and she did!) So if that happens again the procedure is actually to (1) feed something high carb in a small amount, and (2) retest in 20-30 minutes until you have ensured her BG is rising. You repeat this procedure until her BG is over 68 on the AT meter. Then you can gradually extend the time between tests to one hour between tests. When high carb food is given you should test for a full two hours after because BG can drop back down after the carbs wear off.
She is doing very well and I am happy that she needs less insulin. Let’s hope she will need less and less.
