Diabetic Cats in Need (DCIN)
Active Member
Reagan is a senior Maine Coon (mix?) facing possible euthanasia in Bellflower, CA. Here is his Petfinder page, where he is courtesy posted by Maine Coon Rescue.
An email I got last night from the contact person on Reagan's Petfinder post.
If you can help Reagan, even if just by crossposting his plight, please do.

I invite the foster beans of cats of the DCIN adoption list to post updates about their charges on this thread. You may see new threads during the week if cats are added to DCIN's adoption or courtesy lists. (The courtesy list is on the main page of the DCIN blog, after the cats listed above.) You also may see the foster beans post about these cats on Health and the Insulin Support Groups.
Note: Last week's adoptable diabetic cats post.

An email I got last night from the contact person on Reagan's Petfinder post.
The vet will not keep Reagan Maine Coon anymore, and is now telling this senior lady she has a $2600 vet bill. She's not worried about the bill, she does not have the money to pay it. The office manager that used to work there told her not to worry about it, they would try to make it an office cat.
However, she is concerned about where to take the cat. Can you help? She doesn't want to take him to the shelter. I have no room myself and am paying to board a cat because I don't have space here.
We'd appreciate any help.
Thank you,
Denise
