Not sure what to do. Pepper went into hunting mode and was completely disoriented earlier today. Did a test and she was 3.9mmol/L at 5:20pm UK time. Gave honey. 12.2 mmol/L at 6:08pm. 14.3mmol/L at 9:03pm which is when we should have injected 2.5 units of Lantus. However we didn't because we weren't t sure if we should and the vet was closed. We have not previously done home testing due to non compliant puss, but she let us today so we have only ever gone off what the vet said previously. However she had a similar going into hunting mode incident about 3 weeks ago. Then the vet was open and we rushed her in, but they never made the connection that it might be a hypo so hence didn't test her despite the fact that reading online now, going into hunting mode is listed on at least one site as a symptom of a hypo. So what should I do? Have I done right or wrong in not giving her her Lantus insulin shot this evening? She would also be due another in the morning before our vet opens and I am able to ask professional advice. What do I do in the morning?
