Yesterday.
Today is the one year anniversary of Ruby's diabetes diagnosis and she is now officially a long-term diabetic. It's a bittersweet thing for me, as I had hoped long ago that she would go into remission, but chances are with this SCL diagnosis that she would have had to go back on insulin anyway. I'm grateful for the time I've had to learn how to use insulin and not have to juggle the learning curve of dealing with lymphoma at the same time. We manage day by day, and she continues to be the sweet, calm, confident kitty that we know and adore.

I know there is a tornado warning also, and after watching the Wizard of Oz as a child I am terrified! I don't think we will lose power.
