Yesterday evening Spooky wasn't enthusiastic about his dinner and after eating 1/2 of it he vomited a huge watery puddle. Continues to drink water (not a lot, but compared to the fact I never see him drinking previously) more than usual. Last night he was in his usual place during TV timme but was in the meatloaf position. I fed him a treat which ate but not enthusiastically. At bed time he was lying normally sleeping and i picked him up and took him to my bedroom. He was doing constant lip licking. Jumped down from my bed and vomited (liquid and the treats I gave him). This morning he and Socks got me out of bed and he ate (gave him his normal food again) he didn't polish the dish like usual but only left a small amount. So far no vomitting. Still doing a little lip licking and occasionally drink (checked BG 65) he is playing jumping around and carrying toys in his mouth. Pooping and peeing somewhat normal (eating less=pooping less). Could be due to the changing foods (thought I was being nice serving something special) of course he also eats anything else he can steal so perhaps something he stole off my plate or from the kitchen didn't agree with him. Could be a "bug" or flu he picked up. Jojo ?'s pancreatitis....Never had him tested, but I wonder wether his FD was possibly due to p-itis. 3 years old is pretty young for diabetes, I don't recall if he vomited or anything more often before his Dx. I think he did but I assumed the frequent pooping (loose)and peeing, were caused by the FD and drinking and extreme eating. When he overate he puked.
He seems a little better right now. I have to go shopping and the vet is right there so I will stop in (w/o cat) and ask first. If the vomitting continues today or if he doesn't eat well then I will take him in. He is not visablly dehydrated and he is peeing and keeping some food down so I don't think it's dangerous yet. Could be a really bad hairball or something.
