So many tiny ups and downs.
It was interesting ... I came home from the pharmacy and glanced at the app, which was showing 253, the lowest point so far today. During the next half hour when I was puttering around, I noticed him having a little dry food snack. (He's a grazer, and while I'm thinking of discrete meal and snack times, I don't want to make too many changes all at once. Plus I'll need an automatic feeder if we do change to that, because I work on-site four days a week.)
When I went to record his +8, it had gone up to 301 (it dropped to 295 as I was getting the spreadsheet open, and I went with that; can't find the 301 on the graph now). And then it started dropping again towards where it had been. I know his dry food is particularly high-carb, so I guess it makes sense, but it was something to see it in action.
I'm so nervous about giving him his next shot, given yesterday morning's dive and the fact that he's still mostly trending downwards. I mean, we're just getting started and it seems like a good thing if he doesn't go all the way back up to the >400 zone, I think?
(I canceled my Thanksgiving plans because of all this, so I will no doubt be here and rambling quite a bit off and on. Whee?)
I'm finding the graphs really helpful, being rather visually-oriented. I wish I had some samples of what a "good" cycle looks like in this format, but I know the FDMB generally prefers the spreadsheets. (I've done a little searching but not found much, and it's certainly not a big deal.)
