Yesterday we upp'd Mannie's dose to a 3.0F, from a 2.75F, hoping to get his BG's back on track. He had had some fairly horrific days prior, and I really hope this new dose can jump start him back to what were normal Mannie numebrs. We had a really nice blue cycle last night - such a welcome sight. :-D We are 301 this AM - almost blue, and I will take what I can get: this new meter reads about 10% higher than the old one, so.... that 301 is really a 270. :lol: :lol: :lol:

Mannie is great this morning - happy, content, purry, hungry: Normalcy in MannieLand. Last night I could hear him in the kitchen - meowing, prancing, wanting my attention. so - found him in his test spot with that "please?" look on his face. :shock: so - ran the test, at +5, to find the 160. It was as if he wanted me to know he wasn't red or black or pink. They know how all of this affects us. cat_pet_icon We are still in auto feeder remedial school - he missed that again this morning. aiyee - and we keep at it. Nanners napping in progress - yep, normalcy in MannieLand.

Thanks for your support yesterday in Attie's world!!!

Every once in while Attie seems to miss a timed feeding too. It is usually the late in the cycle feeding and then by around +9 he's begging and his slow drop into his evening pre-shot is going on. Which is what I don't like with a timed feeder. If they miss the feeding because they weren't ready for it...it would be nice if it would dump the food into the next chamber. That would be pretty cool!

Hi Beth - yeah I know on the feeder. We had this down a while back, now it's like a foreign object to him, and without the coaching prodding etc he more or less ignores it. We ought to work on developing a feeder that does that: moves it to the next container! :-D :-D

Mannie is looking much better today, the extra juice seems to be doing it's work.

I like that:

' Morning Michelle. According to one of the many printouts I have, so can't say whose it is, +2 is normal to be higher than PS, because of the food influence. That's the only higher number I don't worry about . He'll be blue before you know it....probably is now, already :smile:
When you have Mannie using the automat, will you come and give Checkers lessons? :lol:

Hi Barb - I hope so - blue would be good. :-D Yeah, I figure the +2 is food related, as he does get most of his food by then. I will send Mannie to instruct Checkers, if and when he figures out the feeder. I think he just chooses not to go there. silly boy!

if it was me, I would wait until +14. This is food spike, which was necessary but you want to be sure he's staying up.

I think Libby and I were going back and forth -- it's not a big rise at +14 considering the food vs. Mannie being as high as the moon if you skipped. I'm glad you were decisive!!

Thanks Sienne - I was wavering - but thought I've got the tools, and will watch him, and if I had skipped he'd be back in that boat he was in 2 days ago. Guess we will see how the night pans out.
