396 +3.5
I'm surprised I didn't test again after that +3.5. I did get up at 3:00am to give bupe and syringe feed, but didn't test BGs.
I ended up just syringing some water into him last night, and then found out from one of the other groups (FAF or FPS) that it would be better to just give him more syringes of food and maybe add some more water to them. This morning, he finished off the Authority Chicken & Liver Pate and is starting on a can of Friskies Senior Diet Beef & Chicken.
He has had two short walks this morning. I did notice him at one time, walking way down on his front legs (like he was a lot shorter on his front end than his hind end) and then he stopped. Weird.
His appointment with his regular vet is in two hours.
I am so glad to be home with him today. It is so much nicer to be able to give him a couple syringes and then give him a couple hours to relax after each session, rather than just pushing down a day's worth of food in 2 hours. I also get to see him acting better, as he is not just being pilled and syringed every time I walk past him.
Last night, he was walking to his water bowl and just hanging his head over it and barely drinking anything if at all. This morning, he is walking to his water bowl and drinking.
I need to get my list together to take with me to the vet.
Sending vines to all who need some.
Hopefully, I will be able to pull my attention from J.D. and post to some other people's condos some time soon.
