Good evening,
today was a day with horribly high numbers. She didn't see anything below 400.
I wrote an e-mail to my vet, if there is anything we should do. It is day 11 on Chloramphenicol. My vet sent me an article before we started that some vets recommend to take it max. 14 day, some even say max. 10 days because it can become toxic for cats. I wonder how I find out if Binie still can take three more days. So I am scared to continue but also scared to stop, as we don't have another treatment option.
Thank god Binie was eating her dinner tonight before the shot. She is not happy but not totally unwell. She cleans herself and most of the time she lies in a more or less relaxed position.
Last night was short. At +6 I woke up by the alarm and she was a74 on the libre. I already knew that the libre is not working well this time and she will be much higher but I took a prick to be sure. She was 236. So far off, clearly not working.
As I was anwake anyway and as she was lying in a good position, I decided to change the sensor immediately. My problem is, that I can not force Binie to stay still. I just have to wait until I see her in a good position and hope she holds still. Last time it was not working and she got up after I applied the skin tac and I had to clean her and to start all over again. This time I was lucky and she just waited till I was finished. So far the sensor seems to work. Thank god. I really don't need more stress in all this.
Hope everyone has a relaxed and peaceful day and all kittys are fine!
