? 6/22 Benny AMPS 78 +1 114

When do you have leave? Do you have an autofeeder that you can set for him to eat? Have you fed him? If not and it's 20 mins since the first test, please test again?

The 78 is on the Libre or the meter?
 
+30 mins with food is 80

I did feed him; I was too shocked at the AMPS to change the morning's routine, I think. The 78 is on the meter.

I will not return until hour +4.

On 6/14 his AMPS was 69 by the meter and I did not shoot. He recovered from that very quickly and has gone on to do really well.

I am very scared to shoot at this AMPS, especially the whole 2u.
 
That confuses the issue. Let’s see what @Bandit's Mom thinks, but I am just thinking that if it were my cat I would possibly skip because I could not stand the worry while I was not home. If I could stall an hour or so, I might reconsider- if my shot time could be late. You fed LC right?

Yes, LC. I'm kicking myself because I forgot the meaning of "stalling" rather than feeding him. Going to change the title.
 
Will it mess up your schedule too badly to wait until an hour after typical shot time and recheck BG then? He may be going up.

Yes, leaving soon after the shot, although if I shoot now I can wait until the +1 reading. I can leave food for him.

Is a token dose just a small amount, or half? I would have no problem shooting a little bit.
 
They know when we need to leave. :banghead: He was green as he was coming off a bounce. This cycle will have extra momentum or he might bounce again. He doesn’t nadir early so feeding hc and the token dose will keep him safe until you return along with the auto feeder.

It’s scary at first to see lower numbers but they soon become addictive. I’m sure you don’t believe it now but soon you will feel rotten if you don’t see lots of green. He’s doing so much better on TR.
