Leo’s pre-shot number was a good bit lower than we are used to seeing. The first test was 195 and I retested and got 229. Even at 229 that is lower for him. I was afraid to do the 6 units because #1 it’s at night and #2 I don’t want to cause a bounce. Looking at today I think we may have gotten a bounce from the AM injection. When I get up at night to test him, he does eat when I do that so he isn’t going all night without eating.
I did 5 units instead of 6. Is that good? It just said a reduced dose so I wasn’t sure how much of a reduction to make. He was under it right at 200 (depending on the test) and it is definitely lower than we normally see on a regular basis.
I’m just excited that his pre-shot is low enough for me to even question it!!!
