New member, cannot get my cat regulated

More progress today than I have ever made. Warmed rice sock and got tuna. Sock to ear, give a bite of tuna, keep holding sock to ear, give a bite tuna, find sweet spot and prick, blood comes out (YAY) reach for meter and he pulls away.
At least I got blood from the ear! Trying to see the positive.
Until tomorrow..........I will try again.

Next time you get blood, scrape it onto the back of your nail and test from there.

It is such a struggle, isn't it. Take it one try at a time, regroup, and it will get easier.
 
I would recommend you start a new thread Susan, as this one is getting very long and it is easier for people to look back and help if the thread isn’t too long.
If you link this current thread to the new one, anyone who wants to look back further can do so:)
