Yesterday - bounce + decreased dose + MC food + vet visit

In the latest 2 rounds of R roulette
last night: PMPS 342 (0.25R) +2 274 +4 297

this morning: AMPS 301 (0.25R) +2 121 +4 80 .... not appy a bit iffy but it's hot here, AND I forgot last night's ondansetron. This morning I think I lost the ondansetron battle, she spat it out but I think maybe half of it dissolved in her mouth and she may have got a bit of what I crushed into the food after

still hopefully this means we may get back on track after yesterday's detour.

That's classic! One time you get a decent drop (not 100) and next time you are the one who is "over-winning!"
Medal-worthy over-win. Sigh. Trying not to be anxious because it is hot and I forgot last night's ondansetron and didn't get a full one today, and she's really not as interested in food as usual (turned away from a/d!!! luckily tiny tiger turkey is back in favor).

AMPS 301 (0.25R) +2 121 +4 80 +6 144 +8 238 ketone 0.3 - interesting cycle

Report from vet with bloodwork, lab tab updated on s/s. Still waiting on urinalysis. Key points - electrolytes improved (good). Trending upward kidney values (not good). Recheck for kidney values with electrolytes in 2 months.

BUN 43 mg/dL (range 14 - 36)
Albumin 4.0 g/dL (range 2.5-3.9)
RBC 10.6 (range 5.92-9.93)
Lymphocytes 49% (range 20-45)
Eosinophils 1% (range 2-12)

"Minnie's electrolytes have improved. She does have trending upward kidney values suggesting either she is slightly dehydrated or that she could be getting better muscled (she did gain significant weight). Either way, changes are mild and I recommend continuing with the low dose of spironolactone. No diet changes. Lipids continue to be fine."

How are you doing, Liz? I hope Minnie is eating well for you! I just saw this bloodwork that you posted. I don’t understand why her BUN is increasing and yet not creatinine. Hopefully these values will improve. She was very yellow today I see.
