4/12 Squeaks; AMPS 107-Dose Inquiry

Hello!

It's been 10 days since the last dose change so I was hoping to get advice per the TR regulations. We had a lot of green readings at first but now we're up in the blues again. I'm not sure what to do in regards in dosing, little scared to increase given the super low reading that happened last time, but I do have some higher carb food I could feed to help if you think increase would be best. Or do I just stay for another set amount of time? Appreciate your help!
(PS, I had a procedure done last week so I haven't been able to get as many readings as usual, hopefully that doesn't affect the decision too much)

I hope you are feeling well. If you can test as needed I think you can try the increase again. Don’t see signs of bouncing so I think you have room. If you increase can you get a +1 and +2?
 
Thanks, I'm at like 75%, which I'll take, lol! I should be able to test as needed now. Should I do a +1 and +2 daily?
 
See what you get the first couple of cycles after the increase. I always like a +2 because that’s generally onset of Lantus. With Levine it it’s often +4. and if lower than the preshot may indicate an active cycle. If much higher not so much.
 
I didn't bother with a +1 or +2 on Levemir unless Neko was really low at PS, though some people have found the +2 helpful, I didn't. I would try to get an overnight test tonight before increasing, if you are up to a before bed test now.

Adding a few more carbs into the picture is one possibility. What %carbs are you feeding and do you have something still LC but higher carbs?
 
8% might be good enough, but depends on how carb sensitive Squeaks is. My girl was pretty carb sensitive so it made a difference to her.
