Sadly I don't. How would I find that out?
There's probably better ways of finding renal threshold, but what I did with Sam is, when I was doing a mini-curve and his numbers were trending higher (above 250-ish on the AT2) I'd try my best to get a urine sample a few hours after the higher reading. Then I'd test by dip stick; I have One Step Vet 10 sticks that test all sorts of things -- but the important part for this, is that they test glucose in the urine.

A simpler dip stick that only tests glucose, or glucose and ketones, would work just as well. So if I tested Sam's BG and it came back, say, 270, and the urine test a few hours later came back negative for glucose, I figured Sam's renal threshold is above that point. Another day, and if Sam's BG is 310, and his urine test came back positive, I knew Sam's threshold was likely somewhere below 310. It took a while, and it's not exact, but I was able to figure that Sam's threshold -- on the AT2 -- was around 300. On a human meter, it would probably be best to start checking at 240 and higher. If you get positives at the 240 level, you might want to start checking at 220, or even 200 -- but I would hope 240 would be a good starting point
Sorry, I didn't reply sooner. Been chaos around here. Have learned the hard way that Lunesta is addictive.

Finally got my medical cannabis card so stopped taking it and let me tell you, it isn't fun.

At least I am finally starting to feel much better!

It's really difficult, when a prescription that you've been on does its best to kick you in the hiney when you try to stop taking it. Doctors should really be clearer when prescribing that; "Oh, by the way, if you ever try to stop taking this drug, it will do its best to kill you. Or you'll wish you were dead." Instead, all we usually get are tiny warnings, "May be habit forming, notify doctor before stopping this medication." I'm so glad you're feeling better, though!

I so wish the federal government would step back when it comes to medical cannabis. The Schedule I classification is ridiculous.

I personally blame the tobacco lobby.
Zeke is still doing great. For a few, thought that we were gonna have to raise him back up but nope.

He has been sailing through and we are all enjoying the great numbers! He is getting playful again and it is funny watching him play with Cookie, our newest little girl.
Oh, those readings are looking nice! It's wonderful to see a week without yellows! And Zeke playing with Cookie, squee! Is Mr. Kitty still doing well with his remission?
Sam's remission is going well; he lost a lot of weight when he was sick, and he's trying his best to pack it
all back on. "No, Sam, you do
not need a third can of Friskies today! No. No! Okay, put the claws down, I'm getting the can, back away and nobody gets hurt -- especially
me! Sheesh!" Lol!
