Got it. I know - ECID - but I have all fingers, toes, hairs, and eyes crossed.

This kitty is my heart walking. She is the center of my most tender of worlds. She can be as cross, as irritable, as nippy as she likes, and she will still get pets and snuggles and loves. I know she's old, but we will fight to keep her as long as she can without pain.

Thank you Chris and Bobbie for stopping by.

The other thing to remember about bounces is that for some cats, as they get more regularly in the green not only do they get less dramatic about how high they jump, but the length of the bounce can lessen too, so just because she's taken longer today, doesn't mean she always will. Georges bounces got less pronounced and shorter over time till he became a flat cat.

I don't know if what we saw today was an initial strong reaction to the dose increase (I don't recall ever experiencing this with George, but some cats do have an initial strong reaction), or if it was her clearing the bounce late. Her drop into a flatish yellow cycle on the pm of oct 13, could have been her signalling that she was getting ready to clear the bounce, though the amps was a high yellow so it seemed like she was heading up if anything, in your situation I probably would have gone ahead with the dosecrease like you did.
