Or really just looking for good options for some canned food for Todd. So far he has given me death stares when I give him canned K/D, Royal Canin Renal and any other renal diet. Won't touch 'em. However, if I open a can of low sodium tuna in water, he freaks out and wants it.. and WILL eat it if I give it to him (I give him a tiiiny bit each day as a treat).
So I'm looking for a good food, possibly a tuna based food, that would be acceptable for a CRF/diabetic kitty. I hate to sound lazy in any way, but I want a food that I don't need to add stuff to it, if that makes sense? Just give it as is... if possible.
My hope is to get him to gain a bit of weight, which I know can be very hard for CRF kitties. But I want to try.
I've gone through the lists, but even with the lists, I can't figure out what is a good choice for him. I guess I need suggestions. :/
A friend suggested the weruva, but I don't know if Todd can have that or which one he could try with his health issues.
Or heck, if anyone has a good suggestion on helping him gain some weight, let me know!
Thanks!
Sarah
