Vet recommendations

Does anyone have a vet they could recommend in the Bartlett/Germantown, TN area? My vet of 20+ years has moved an hour away. My three attempts at replacing him have failed miserably. They don’t want to treat a diabetic cat whose owner is doing home testing. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

These vets specialize in cats, though not necessarily diabetes. Might be worth calling around to see how they handle diabetic animals.

Oh, thank you! I will definitely check out the website. There used to be an actual cat hospital in Memphis, but it closed a couple of years ago. I may be forced to drive for an hour to my former vet. Like someone said earlier, if you find a prince in a pond full of frogs, you’d better latch on, lol. Thanks again for the link, we Tennessee girls have to stick together. :)
 
I dread the day I'd have to find a new vet. Don't forget it's often the staff that make or break your first impression. When I call mine they recognize my voice and I can tell filthy jokes but every so often a recent graduate answers, then I have to spell out my northern European extra long last name. Hold please!
I tried to find a new family doctor when I moved here, they took a peek at my file of neurological oddities and never called back. Anything more than having your tonsils out is too much for some doctors.
 
I only go to one doctor, who is one of the greats. Other doctors came close to killing me. Don’t get me started on drs, I will still be ranting at sundown,
 
Is this a contest because I'd like in. When my brain aneurysm gave a little squirt the pain was unbelievable. First emergency doc said it was a sinus infection, the second said I had probably pulled a muscle in my face. "It's doctor actually" doesn't work with me, does the doctor call the plumber Your Highness if he comes at 3AM when the water heater lets go? Pompous ass :banghead:
