Elise - at a professional level, I'm more than a little disturbed that most of the presenters are sponsored by cat food manufacturers. At least in some of the papers I skimmed, there are references to their sponsor's product. The information in the paper on diabetes is not consistent with AAHA guidelines and she recommends prescription foods. It also sounds like she doesn't encourage home testing -- she notes curves require that the kitty be hospitalized for a curve.
 
That’s alarming to see the least. The person that referred to this was looking at the pancreatitis sections and kidney I believe. I haven read much of it yet. I will before posting any more. She usually suggests symposiums from trusted professionals. Thanks for reading Sienne.
