:YMSIGH: I went to the vet to get Bailey T4 tested to determine if his methimazole dose needed changing and to look at a lump under Twigie's armpit. That lump and some others the vet found were aspirated and looked at under a microscope. The conclusion is that Twigie has mammary cancer. It is in both mammary chains. Based on the locations, size and how fast they grew, surgery would prolong her life for only a little if any addition time. Chemotherapy is also not very successful. I am so saddened. I have only been caring for Twigie for about 1 1/2 years. She was a breeder kitty and was spayed late in life.
