I can't believe how long it's been since I posted any pictures of the kitties! They are going on 10 weeks old and getting bigger (and badder!) every day. There for awhile I was taking pics every day but then I forgot for a couple of weeks so I figured I better get a few before they're all grown up.

I found wonderful homes for the white female that looked like a hedgehog (I was calling her Yoda) and also for the black male. I am left with a white male (Yuki, my favorite but don't tell the others) and two black females. The black ones are identical except that one has about 3 white hairs on the chest (KoKo) and the other has about 3 white hairs on the stomach (Kona). Obviously I can't be picking them up to tell which name to yell when they are doing wrong so I tried to put a collar on one of them yesterday. It was a break-away and lasted about 3 seconds. I guess I will have to go back to marking one with nail polish, although I hate to do that because they try to run away from themselves and it's pretty sad. bcatrun_gif bcatrun_gif

And I still have the mommacat, Angel. She is the sweetest cat and has obviously never had the opportunity to be a kitten because she never used to play and then when the babies started playing she roughhouses with them just like she is a kitten. I worried about it for awhile because she will pounce on them and give kinda like a body-slam to the ground and then bite the kitty on the neck and stomach. But the kitties rarely cry and it's almost like a human mother making blubber noises on a human baby's stomach....the kitties look for more when she stops.

So it looks like I will be the bean for FOUR cats...I hope I'm up to it.

Hi Brenda, The kitties are beautiful. How lucky you are to be momabean to such a lovely family! I'll bet they are keeping you on your toes. Enjoy every minute. And keep in touch. We love to hear about Angel and her brood.

Stu sends greetings to you, Angel and the kittens, as do I,

Ella & Stu

What a gorgeous group you have there! Wow, time sure flies doesn't it; they are looking so big and umm, angelic.
Angel and her rascals sure got lucky finding you! I am sure you are in for some treats along the way with that bunch!

It's so great to hear from you and a relief that Angel and the kitties are thriving in your home.

WOW! Thanks for posting. Been wondering how they were doing, including you. they are adorable. Morris certainly gave you a bounty of responsibility and love .

Thanks everyone! I think they are kind of special myself...and you should have seen the ears on Yoda...thus the name.

It's funny because the white ones are a completely different body type, fur and personality from the black ones. Someone on here told me that Angel looked like a breed called Turkish Van, which I had never heard of. When I googled it, up came pictures of Angel. And the kitty daddy (who is still hanging around the house) is a beautiful black and white long hair, maybe Norwegian Forest or Maine Coon. Would dearly love to catch him and bring him inside but that might be a bit too much. I am trying to catch him so he can be neutered at least....to my knowledge he has fathered at least four litters, probably more.

I often wonder what is happening here on the board and will bop in from time to time just to see who is in countdown and who is OTJ. Amazed at the number of new names but at least they have found the right place and hopefully in time to keep their babies from too much damage...FDMB is a lifesaver, literally!
