I am going to the local drug store today to see about the u-100 syringes. Is there any type of markings or codes that I need to make sure are on the package? I will ask for the half unit markings.
I believe I understand the conversion... I just have a question on the shot with the half markings... it looks like it starts off at .5 as the first mark then goes 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5 and so on up to 5 units. Is this correct? 5 units is equal to 2 units of u-40 insulin. I am giving catee 1.75 so I would need to be about on the 4.0 marking on the u-100... is this correct?
Also I read on another site showing up close images of the shots that the needles are thinner but are easier to bend. Has anyone encountered this? Are they shorter than the U-40? I want to avoid fur shots but I do want the shot to get in there.
Sorry for so many questions but I want to make sure I get the right shots and know before his PM shot today.
