Hey there
I used this forum years ago and I remember there were a few others from my area. I’m hoping they’re still here as I am in desperate need of information on boarding a diabetic cat for a week in New Westminster (or anywhere accessible by transit)
Evidently all of the vet clinics that offer cat boarding in New West/Burnaby have a new policy against boarding diabetics, since they would be required to be there longer than 8 hours.
How do you all find a way to leave for a few days? I haven’t been able to go anywhere for years. Can’t even go out in the evening because I have to be home at a certain time every day.
The other option I guess would be to take him with me, but he can barely handle a bus ride so I doubt he’d handle a plane ride very well and I don’t want him to have a heart attack.
What to do?
