Maverick has had high numbers now for a few weeks (300-500, sorry, I did not update his spreadsheet in a few months), but luckily without any ketones. However, I just found out he dos have a fungal ear infection which I think is the part of the cause to those high numbers, he also has a nail bed infection which is kin of.a recurrent thing for him. Vet vanted to put him on Tresaderm drops- but I worry since there is steroids in it. Maverick seems to be in pain and bothered by the infection. Is it worth testing the tresaderm and take him off of it in case numbers skyrocket even more? Or are there a non steroid alternative that works well for fungal infections (vet checked and it's not bacterial)? TIA
