I saw a commercial for this last night. From the makers of Lantus a new insulin that is more stable. Has anyone seen this or thinking about trying it?

The only difference is the Toujeo is 3 times as strong as Lantus....it's the same thing, only in a 300U strength instead of 100U (so each mL contains 300 "particles" of insulin instead of 100)

If you have a high-dose cat and can dose in 1 unit increments using the pen w/pen needles then it would be OK.
I priced it out for my high-dose cat (about 50 units twice daily), per unit it is a little more expensive than the regular U100 Lantus.
