First of all: Many thanks to everyone on here who is part of this community. I believe you've saved a lot of cats and helped a lot of owners!
Now to my actual case:
My cat started to behave differently in June this year and finally got diagnosed with diabetes 3-4 weeks ago. Since then the cat has received insulin, greatly improving her health. However, often times we weren't able to give her the injection and we weren't able to measure her blood sugar at home at all.
It's now been three days since we last managed to give her the insulin. She still seems to do fine but I guess this is pretty risky?
Our vet now heard of Senvelgo and did some research including talking to some other client who successfully medicated their cat for 2 years with Senvelgo.
Question: Is the cat already dependent on the insulin or are we early enough to switch to Senvelgo?
The vet seems to be pretty confident in their recommendation to switch but the posts on here make me unsure about that recommendation.
