Frith and Toby
New Member
My dear diabetic Toby cat died yesterday of cancer and I have a lot of diabetic supplies that I would like to sell. I had just stocked up about a month ago and have what would have been for us, a 6-month supply of insulin and syringes left. If it's possible to sell these to someone in Seattle on this list, my family's finances could really use the help. If this is out of order or not the appropriate place please let me know. I have not been very active on the boards but learned a lot from FDMB in the year that I had a diabetic kitty.
I have:
1. an almost brand-new 10 ml vial of Glargine, refrigerated since first used (Toby was on 1/2U once a day so we've probably only used 30 units or so from the vial), expires 12/2012
2.67 BD insulin syringes (ultra-fine needle, 3/10 cc capacity, 8mm length, 31 gauge) for U-100 insulin. 6 bags unopened plus extras.
3. ReliOn Ultima blood glucose monitor
4. 65 ReliOn Ultima test strips, expire 03/2012
I read that it was prohibited to list syringes and prescription medications on Craigs List so I'm posting here in the hope that someone might want these items. I'm in Seattle and would be happy to sell the lot or some of these. If you're interested please contact me via the list and let me know what seems like a fair price.
Thanks.
