Timing of injection issue

Hi all - I’m starting my kitty back up on insulin today. I have a toddler, so it makes it difficult to test/inject between the hours of 8am and 8pm while he’s awake. The ideal times for me would be 7:30/7:45am and 8:15pm. Is this really bad for him with Lantus?
 
You really don't want to have more than 30 minutes one way or the other -- what I mean is try not to shoot any earlier than 11 hours 30 minutes and try not to shoot any later than 12 hours and 30 minutes.

Having said that, even with those times you've mentioned, you will need to be able to grab some mid cycle tests. You're experienced, so I'm sure you already realize that.
 
If you started Lantus already can you make a line above the date you started Lantus and just put Started Lantus on your spreadsheet and also in your signature the date started Lantus
