Time of day

In a cat who is not taking insulin, what time of day would the blood glucose normally be highest? Is there some kind of normal pattern? For example, first thing in the morning, or a certain number of hours after eating?

My OTJ kitty is usually the highest in the morning right before eating. He actually goes anywhere from 20 to 30 points lower about 3 hours after eating.

Likewise.
Luna is typically higher just before breakfast and dinner time.
Hence, diet controlled, OTJ, on a low carb wet food diet.

ECID and regular spot checks on yours will help you see his own patterns.
