LOOKING FOR YOUR EXPERTISE !!!
Sorry, it's us again!! Since December, my Ti-Mousse is always mostly in BLACK and RED! He had a few Yellows and Pinks..but he keeps getting back to the dark numbers
(I'm starting to think that for those good numbers I pricked my finger instead of his little ear
..)
- Could it be that this type of insulin is not working great for him ? but he seems to be lower at night than during the day at some point; if that type of insulin was not working, would he go lower sometimes? (I'll be starting his 2nd month of Lantus on January 22);
- Could it be dental, I know that's a main problem? (BTW vet never called me back .... GRRRR!) If it was a dental problem causing this, why would he go lower sometimes? Inflammation or infection if any, can't go away if not treated!!
- Could it be the dosage? This is weird !!!! I noticed that the lower numbers he got were always after a fur shot = so no insulin !! His numbers were lower at lower dosage! Does he need insulin, maybe his system is fighting ???
If someone can give us some thoughts or feedback on this, I would appreciate so much! I want to do the most for Ti-Mousse but I'm not sure where to go NOW and what is the right path to follow to get him out of this !!
