Hi all - Lucy has been eating wet food exclusively for years. Over the past few days, her appetite has reduced drastically out of nowhere and she won't touch her wet food or any of the other different ones I bought yesterday in an attempt to get her to eat. I grabbed a few kibbles from a family member and she ate those. I've already taken her to the vet and all of her bloodwork came back fine (pancreatitis, liver, kidneys) as did an x-ray of her abdomen. She is getting more fluids and anti-nausea medication today, and then I am going to give her fluids at home tonight to try and see if she doesn't start feeling better. If she isn't improved tomorrow, they're going to do an abdominal ultrasound. In the meantime, I am going to buy some dry food to at least try and get her to eat something and hopefully get her going in the right direction. The vet said a small amount would be fine for this purpose only but to keep an eye on her glucose.
Any recommendations for a particular kind that would be the "least bad" so to speak?
