STALLING

I noticed on the fb page you were talking about the cost of the alphatrack strips.
Why don’t you swap to a human meter. The test strips are much cheaper and you can get them on eBay even cheaper than the chemist.

I am going to. I spent the afternoon on the internet and I can get much cheaper ones om line or at the big chemist warehouse..100 test strips for around $30 (no more $50 for 50 Alphatrak at the vet? It's cheaper to but a human meter, plus 100 strips plus a 100 lancets than paying for just test strips with some models!! The insulin was starting to cost $62 for a couple of weeks if she went up to the vets 10U.
He's not a bad vet he just isn't overly familiar with feline diabetes - Bonnie is his 2nd case!!! He even had the text book out last time with both of us going through it.
I'm sure he'll be just as happy as me if we get this under control and ecstatic if it was controlled by food!! He would learn from it and if he ever got another cat patient he'd recommend the FDMB to them. He knows I've been talking on line but he's so busy he he can't spend a lot of time talking - he rings me from the car as he drives home. He's not working til Thursday and he's going to wonder why I haven't booked the big urine tests. Hopefully I'll have a nice curve for him as a reply!

Sorry every hour came so quickly plus I was reading up that cars BG 2 hours after eating should be the sane as before. She defied the odds and spiked
+1 13.6
+2 16.7
+3 15.9
+4 15.3
It's all on the spreadsheet.
I'll wait a couple of days until she's settled from me nor shooting and observe her normal 4 hourly readings after night dinner. I can't ley her graze as she will eat until she throws up. She's VERY hungry and waking me upm2 hours early in the morning and crying 90 mins before time at night. I don't give it as she's 7.5kg and only dropped 0.5kg with diabetes. Her 3kg sister eats a tin of FF also. The litter trays arw better on FF as there's so little poop and no smell!! The dry kibble was shocking lol.
So she's obviously OK now but I don't understand why she was so low then so much higher. There's no rules with diabetes!
Thanks SOOOO MUCH for all your help as I wouldn't have got through it so easily or safely without you. I really appreciate it.

Wow! She really zoomed up from that green PMPS. It's great you shot the full dose.
If you see this, please take off the 911 from the title? Thanks.
