She should be fine. You could take the night off.
I agree with Sue and Rachel. That actually looks just like a fairly usual food spike to me, although she could also still be showing some of the after effects of that dive in the last cycle; you just never really know how long it takes for their little systems to readjust and settle down after something like that.I wouldn't worry yet. Could be stress, could be something else. As Sue said, it's just one number.![]()
I just went to Walmart close to me. They unfortunately did not have the half unit size. I'll have to try elsewhere another day. But thank you for the info.Walmart carries U100 syringes in the pharmacy if you are interested. A box of 100 was just under $13. Some may require "proof of need" but the pharmacist here told he if I brought the box or flap off the box that the prozinc came in that would work as proof. The ones I got were 3/1oml 30g and they worked great, had half unit marks on them for smaller dosing. Sorry for the bad pic, my tablet doesnt take very good pictures... View attachment 20884
They won't let you return ANY blood items...the self checkout beeps for override on EVERY itemYou might call around first and ask to see who carries them. They are probably less common because most humans dose more insulin than 0.5 at a time. They should have them available though - maybe for children with diabetes? Be sure they measure in half units before you leave the store - most stores won't let you return syringes.
