Well... we handled our first change well but she threw me a couple of reds which I don't like. Possible fur shot yesterday- just a little and today I smelled insulin but did not feel anything.
I'm changing the way I do her food- lately she has been turning down her watered down food- if it is mashed too much so it is like fine grain so... She will only get 1 oz at a time with water in it. It takes longer but she has started eating the chicken again.
Peeing less and more in stages. Slight ketones but that might have been her not eating what amounts to half each can and not getting her full dose of insulin last night.
Vickie-
I agree that her numbers haven't been great but I've only just managed to get her back on schedule and wasn't sure how much that would account for the wild ride and she has only been with 2.25 for 6 cycles with no real change but the reds although she was showing more yellows at night on the 2u but they only dipped under 250 once at that. I am thinking about also going to a 7/7 schedule until school ends in May- about 4 weeks. That way she would only be an hour or so late on school nights rather than two and her numbers might finally get down to where i can creep her back down to 6/6 in case i have to withhold her shot to raise her numbers.
