Smokey will be in good company at the bridge, flying free with all our GAs.

I am so sorry to see this. I know how hard you fought for him. You made a very loving, generous decision, and I know how difficult it was for you.

I wish now I hadn't mailed those syringes already. I hope it doesn't cause you more pain when they arrive. Things like that have been difficult for me to deal with when they happened.

My deepest sympathy goes out to you and your DH. Be good to yourselves. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

OH PAULA!!!

I am so so sorry to hear that Smokey has crossed the bridge. You and Smokey fought so very hard, but Smokey's poor little body was just too weak to continue. You gave Smokey such love and amazing care and the greatest gift of love to set Smokey free from the pain.

Paula, I'm so sad it was Smokey's time. You two made a great team and he knows how much you love him. This last gift is the hardest thing to give. I'm so glad your DH is home. Always looking out for his best interests right up to the end, he couldn't be more loved. I'm so sorry (((((Paula and DH))))) letting go is the hardest thing.
