The opthalmologist could not have been nicer. Most of the other vets were really nice, too. It was just that 'gatekeeper' type on the phone the other day who was the only disappointing/rude one.

I want one of those for emergencies... But yes, the rigid one is best for Saoirse right now. And her fur is growing back! Bless her, she's really had a rough go of it. The sooner she starts looking like her old self, the better.
A little sleep and some food work wonders. Is your chest clearing up? I do hope you get that soft cage soon, I know Saoirse will be much more comfortable and snug in it. How's her weight holding up? Do you have a scale at home? And has Saoirse adapted to the blood pressure cuff?
