Ruckus PMPS 16.8

Hi everyone, so Ruckus will be going to the vet to have his teeth looked at and to get “insulin antibodies/ insulin like growth factor” tested on the 28th. I’m almost positive he has a bad tooth now. He is only eating on one side of his mouth and I see a dark spot in the tooth. So the vet told me his teeth were okay last time but this time I think I’m going request a X-ray to see, other suggestions? Do you think a bad tooth will mess up his numbers this bad ?

Are you going to test for acromegaly? I saw on another post it was mentioned
acromegaly (IGF-1 test) and IAA. I

Do you think a bad tooth will mess up his numbers this bad ?

Yes, dental issues do cause higher BGs - any kind of infection/inflammation does. That may not be the only reason in Ruckus' case though.

Yes those are the test we’re going to be doing
