Refrigerate?

Received my first shipment of Lantus today - it says to not refrigerate after the first use but I feel like I should?

Please let me know what you all do here, thanks!

I think it’s safe to say everybody here refrigerates their Lantus! Just don’t store it in the door.

Hi Hannah one thing on your spreadsheet you should also note up too where you have Prozinc you need to note there now Lantus 10-14
and make a blank line above 10-14 on your spreadsheet and write Started Lantus because members might not read it in your signature ,if you don't know how to do this I can ask Bhooma to do it for you. @HannahLogan312 :cat:

Yes I will do this - I need to change my signature I intended to start today and I received my Lantus but haven’t received the syringes yet so hoping to start as soon as possible but will probably be another day or two depending on when they get here. I will make sure to note on my spreadsheet once I start it though - thanks for the heads up !
 
Also if you are going to post on the lantus forum we suggest you do a new post everyday and link your previous days post to it. So it would be like this
Date Bella then AMPS BG and any additional tests after that, then you can add PMPS #
To add the additional BG numbers to your title look to the right you will see they word Thread Tools tap that then tap Edit Title add your tests and tap Save.:cat:
Did you get the U-100 syringes with the half unit markings ?

Unfortunately the ones I got (this afternoon they came so I will probably try to start the Lantus tomorrow morning) do not, however one of the lovely people in the supply closet on this forum is also going to send me needles she no longer needs - not sure if those will have the half unit markings or not. to start I was going to try 1 Unit twice a day and see how that goes to start. @Diane Tyler's Mom

Hi the only reason I suggest to use the half unit markings are because we increase or decrease by 0.25 units at a time ,even though they only have 0.5 adjustments it's much easier to adjust by 0.25 units at a time
If the ones you are getting from the member don't have them tag me and I can tell you where to buy them. You can always use the ones you have if you need to give 1 or 2 units etc down the road
