Question about Levemir vs Lantus in LL

Thanks for asking here, Dr. Lisa. I see LL has you covered as to your question about why Levemir is preferred for acros. Also, not sure if she knows she can order Lantus or Levemir cartridges from Canada for cheaper than in the US, even with shipping. She would need a prescription now, but for an acrocat that would save her more money!

One poster says the Levemir flexpens from Canada are much cheaper than cartridges! I use those and really like them as they are larger and easier to hold when drawing the insulin.

I know this isn't what you asked about, but I think most of us switched from either PZI or Vetsulin to Levemir. And for an acro, cost is an important factor in choosing an insulin.
