You may have noticed how I am once again pushing newbie kits. Don't want anyone feeling like I am throwing resources away when I offer too many to those who don't ask.
The current issue is I have several vials of 10 that will expire by the end of november.
In the interest of not wasting them I've been pushing Newbie Kits with a gentle request for small donation to keep buying fresh strips.
Sooooooooooo, if anyone was thinking i was pushing....you are right!
one touch is what i need, am buying on ebay but will accept any that you want to send my way. i fell onto a nice amount of OT mini's for a bargain...no strips of course.
Lori
and tomtom too!

Lori, if you are getting enough strips, why not include more than 10 in the newbie kits? That way, they wouldn't expire and the new tester would have enough strips to last more than the first couple of days.

Just a thought!

Best,
Pam & Layla

I agree with Pam on this. I know when I first tried to test I went through 10 strips the first few attempts easily.
The strips are one of the big costs as meters can be found free often.

Perhaps looking at creating a few less newbie kits with say 50 strips each, and giving those to people who ask would eliminate the concern of expired strips?

i never send 10 strips ever. 20-30 minimum. sometimes with certain meters i've sent up to 50 for the obvious reasons.
10 is too chintzy!
