Every moment is precious. Enjoy them now while you can.

May God bless you with peace, serenity, and wonderful times that will become wonderful memories, as you care for your furry family member.

Hugs and prayers. Woof and purr.

This story has a happy ending.
We were told twice our dog had a "mass" (medically a mass could be anything) and when the oncologist saw me crying she started to cry. Funny thing was no one ever came right out and said the "C" word. We were told whatever "it was" was inoperable. I asked "So take her home, treat her like a Princess and let her eat whatever she wants?" That got pretty hard six months later keeping up the Princess and chicken breast thing. Spoiled dog was misdiagnosed. We all deserve a few miracles in what is sometimes a rotten and unfair world. Maybe the two of you are due. :bighug: :bighug: :bighug:

You are so terrific. Thanks for that story.

I think Grandpa is happy to be back home and into his regular routine. He meowed for breakfast and ate most of his wet food lunch before sampling three other plates of food belonging to the other cats. I treated myself to a burger for dinner. It came with a side of Grandpa trying to snatch it from my hands. He and the dog enjoyed splitting the 1/2 lb burger three ways.

Every day is an adventure, but we are grateful for the trip.

Sometimes I regret hitting the Reply button because I think the story didn't come out right or was "All about me". Gag :(
I'm hoping your daily adventure turns out the same as ours. Someone else made a big mistake but instead of letting anger take over we just let things go and as she started to gain weight and be a happy dog again; no meds, no poking and prodding, we made it past Christmas and stopped counting after 100 days. Who wants hospital food when you can have bacon and burgers?
We're going to our favorite greasy spoon this morning Grandpa. I'll get you a booster seat and a little bib.
