Yay! Tested again after the 20% & maple syrup and he's 93. Gave another tsp of 20%, but he's not interested. Now he's hanging out on the couch with me.

I was thinking the same thing. The 28 could have been a faulty strip or not enough blood.

He sure was acting relaxed before the +2...sleeping soundly, but it was time to test him. Did I give too much maple syrup? I didn't measure, but guessing 1/4 tsp.

Leo usually gets up on his own at +2 to eat, but didn't this time, and then it was time for a +2.

Leo was more relaxed/sleepy than usual, but it was another hectic late afternoon/evening with tornado & thunderstorm warnings... city sirens going off, plus the weather radio alarm going off and announcing details of the warning and cities involved. Usually stress can make a high BG, but a low? Definitely the lowest BG I've encountered over the last 14.5 months.

Awww. Leo and Andy are grooming each other a little. Ohhh, I see why... Leo's tail must have dipped into the bowl of 20% & maple syrup. I had that bowl, plus the water bowl and even the LC food remaining in the dinner bowl on the counter while I administered the needed hypo emergency food(s).

A reduction of .25 will be taken in the morning. Thank you, AGAIN.
