Hi!

Quick plea. No prior condo... it's been awhile since last one.

Already gave 20%, plus some maple syrup.

Just test in 15 to 20 min? This is still early in the cycle.

Thank you!

I was thinking the same thing. The 28 could have been a faulty strip or not enough blood.

Hi Joni, did he drop to 28 after 20% at +1? I think you want to reduce to be extra safe anyway.

Yes; he dropped after the +1 tsp of 20%. Do you mean tomorrow morning, reduce .25U?

Leo usually gets up on his own at +2 to eat, but didn't this time, and then it was time for a +2.

Sorry my details are confusing. Reading over it now, and I can see my communication is lacking. I was more or less calm, but yet the 28 was quite scary.

Thank you, both. :bighug:

Your communication is not lacking :bighug: That 28 would freak even the most hardened sugarcat parent!

Yes, take him down a full 0.25U. A drop below 40 is always a reduction.

Btw, in the AM cycle of 3/12 is the test for +6.1 in the +1 cell in the SS?

Leo was more relaxed/sleepy than usual, but it was another hectic late afternoon/evening with tornado & thunderstorm warnings... city sirens going off, plus the weather radio alarm going off and announcing details of the warning and cities involved. Usually stress can make a high BG, but a low? Definitely the lowest BG I've encountered over the last 14.5 months.

Awww. Leo and Andy are grooming each other a little. Ohhh, I see why... Leo's tail must have dipped into the bowl of 20% & maple syrup. I had that bowl, plus the water bowl and even the LC food remaining in the dinner bowl on the counter while I administered the needed hypo emergency food(s).

A reduction of .25 will be taken in the morning. Thank you, AGAIN.

Oh, my goodness! CORRECTION!
61 +1.5 tsp 15%
Must have been the time change!
