Fergus hit 108 today at PMPS.
We are 4 cycles in to a steady 1.5 u dose. We would be 8 cycles in but I had a skip and a missed dose in there.
So I tested, he ate and I shot it. It was a little (few minutes) late due to tornado sirens. Luckily, those passed over us (prayers for those hit) and we got our BS check and dose in. It took him a minute to chill and eat which was part of the shoot delay. Given the lower number, I wanted food in him. Shot was maybe close to 20 min off.
We did it. I had to pill him too. He dislikes that. One of them makes him drool a lot if he doesn't get it in and he started the day in the sink for a wash up, He did not appreciate that after getting pilled by DH last night. So we did a quick clean up after and seems he is still my friend now, since he wandered out after a good hide and meowed a "hi" at me.
So I am comfortable doing my "becoming our norm" +6 check. Any advice on doing anything else. I am trying to overcome a huge fear of shooting at a low. BUT I READ AND READ AND it was not a miss or lower the dose situation. So I prayed and pulled the trigger.
MUCH LOVE you all the SUGAR MAMAS and SUGAR DADDIES chilling with their SUGAR KITTENS tonight. I hope everyone is well and safe or has all the comfort and support they need.
I am so grateful to have found this board. It is truly an island in a big old scary ocean of FD.
