He is still keeping himself low enough that I cant shoot any insulin, he hasnt had any at all now since Sept 11, that day I gave him .1 lantus but I dont think he needed it and it didnt seem to do anything with his shed being empty. He has lost some weight which may be a factor I dont know, he is eating well, playing like usual and seems to be feeling fine.
He has gone as high as 215ish a couple of times but brought himself down ok after eating, if I shoot him at numbers like that he goes far too low after so we are in wait and see mode and taking it day by day, I am still testing as usual until I am sure he will stay down. Normal numbers for a ferret are 90-120, a little higher than for kitties.
After the last time this happened I really hesitate to say he may be going OTJ so we are just taking it one day at a time for a while and see what happens.

Hey Pippin, way to go. Guess you'd say we are cousins of sort, eh? Anyway, hope you come to the full moon party, they say it is good for the BGs. We'll have fun! Take care, Lanky

He seems to be creeping up, he had a high day on monday but this morning had brought himself down to 169 so I havent shot any insulin yet.
