He is still keeping himself low enough that I cant shoot any insulin, he hasnt had any at all now since Sept 11, that day I gave him .1 lantus but I dont think he needed it and it didnt seem to do anything with his shed being empty. He has lost some weight which may be a factor I dont know, he is eating well, playing like usual and seems to be feeling fine.
He has gone as high as 215ish a couple of times but brought himself down ok after eating, if I shoot him at numbers like that he goes far too low after so we are in wait and see mode and taking it day by day, I am still testing as usual until I am sure he will stay down. Normal numbers for a ferret are 90-120, a little higher than for kitties.
After the last time this happened I really hesitate to say he may be going OTJ so we are just taking it one day at a time for a while and see what happens.
