Petlibro cooled feeder- any experience?

Good morning,
Regs seems to have super late nadirs at night and I was wondering if a snack or two might help him not dropping super low. I found the Petlibro Polar automatic cooled feeder and I think it would be not only good at night but also having a snack ready when I am at work or on a little trip.
Since the feeder is not cheap I wanted to ask first if someone used it and could recommend or not recommend it or if there is even a better feeder available? We live in Florida so it should be cooled and if possible app controlled.

Would be happy to hear about experiences or recommendations :)

Yes I love the two Petlibros we have! We’ve had them for probably two years now. They’re three slots each so the second feeder helps if I have to be out all day. Petlibro got a lot of grief online recently because their servers went down and a lot of people couldn’t use the app. The schedule saves and repeats though so some people were fine. I definitely recommend an external camera and/or a back up plan, but 99% of the time it’s not an issue.

Happy to answer any questions or help with the setup though keep me posted.

Thanks for your answer. I think I need to pull th trigger on one even my husband hates the idea spending so much money. But it gives me more peace of mind when we go on a little trip and perhaps a bit more sleep.
I have a Furbo camera anyway in this room, so I just need to find a good angle to see if the little flaps are opening.

And thank you so much for the offer in case I have questions, I really cant wait to try it and see if Regs understands that food is in there :D

I’m in Florida as well I buy everything for my pets from CHEWY.COM they have a great selection of feeders and at a great price
I love chewy. Almost all meds come from there. I just try to avoid amazon for that because I don't want to get one that was shipped and returned before and I think chewy would be a bit better for this.

I have one! I really like it. I wanted something that had refrigeration, not just frozen packs because I'm gone 12 hours a day for work, pretty much. Both my cats eat out of it together, no problem, so there's plenty of room.

As @Tim & Pookey mentioned, you do need to swap out the schedule every 12 hours (most likely, for what our cats need), and I just time it with the shots. So I shoot, refill, and change it in the app all at once.

It took them a day or two to figure it out (I carried them to it at first which was so funny) like hey guys ur food is here go GET IT!!!

There's an affiliate link for the PetLibro feeder: Petlibro

I bought it and I’m super excited to try. Even I had no idea that there is a way to support FDMB so maybe I have to return it and order again.

The refrigeration is the point I love on it. I have another one with an ice pack and I really don’t think it is keeping the food cold reliably. And maybe it gives me more freedom not to come home in every lunch break and getting up at night.

I’m so glad many people here have one and like it, after the Amazon reviews I was a little worried it would not be good.

we got the feeder yesterday and I was so excited to try it. It really keeps cool and so easy to use.

And Regs? He hates it and doesn’t want to eat out of it 🙄 is there a trick how I can get him used to it? I was expecting by the second time opening it, he would understand and run for the food.

I also noticed since the feeder is in the cat room, that Regs sugars are in the 300th. Is that me overthinking or can the little humming from the feeder stress Regs? It could also be the reduction we have since Monday but I’m super confused because the pink numbers started right when I rolled the feeder in.

I’m trying to remember but I think it took Pookey a little bit to get used to the ding of the bell and associate that with food… can’t remember how long though.

I had to carry them to it the first few days, especially Talasseres. It didn't help that I was keeping it in a different room from where they got fed before (no plugs in a good spot near where it was before)

We have 10 days, I hope that is enough. When I point out the food he starts eating (even the machine is veeeery suspicious) but he does not understand that the ding ding means food 😅

Same here I had to change the whole cat room, I guess that stress might have caused the high numbers today. But I hope he is learning soon, I'm in love with the feeder so I hope he will get used to it
