Google is wonderful. I typed "pantoprazole in cats" and got a bunch of listings.
The answer is yes, it can be used in cats. Your vet should advise on the dose.

Here's one result from the Merck Veterinary Manual, a 'bible' for vets.

If the issue is excess stomach acid, many of us use 1/4 of a Pepcid AC (nothing else in it) about 20 minutes before feeding.

I googled too. Just wanted the experience of the board. I have almost a full bottle that I want to send to someone that can't get the Pepcid.

Just had a gander at BJ's Merck manual - dosage info as follows for

Proton pump inhibitors (eg, omeprazole 0.5–1 mg/kg/day, PO, or pantoprazole 0.5–1 mg/kg/day, IV) offer more complete inhibition of gastric acid secretion and are therefore useful for more severe ulcers. Prophylactic use of H2 blockers and proton pump inhibitors to prevent GI ulceration is controversial but may be considered in animals receiving NSAIDs or that have other risk factors.

[Emphasis mine.]

Trouble is it's IV admin. (Same was mentioned in another article I've just read.)

PO means by mouth, so omeprazole 0.5–1 mg/kg/day, PO.

What about Pepcid AC?

What you could do is put it into a soft food, mix incredibly well, and use an oral syringe to measure the dose.
Ex. take 0.6 mL of food, dissolve in tablet, pull up 0.05 mL of mix to dose.

So, I'm testing my math skills. I have a syringe that has mL markings. If you were to mix a pill with 6mL of food, mix very well, then draw up .5 mL, would that be the same?
